Combining sculpted lines with a stylish edge, the all-new KONA Hybrid is expressive from every angle. Muscular surfaces flow into the distinctive high-contrast fender cladding, highlighting the bold SUV design. Mix and match the all-new KONA Hybrid to express your personal style. Available with an eye-catching two-tone roof – you can combine 10 exterior colours with 2 roof colours for a total of 27 different combinations.

18’’ Alloy wheels

A reflection of its high-tech hybrid powertrain, a brand new set of 18” alloy wheels have been designed exclusively for the all-new KONA Hybrid. These bold, two-tone multi-spoke wheels are paired with MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 tyres for excellent steering control and high levels of reactivity.

New digital information cluster

Optimally placed next to the speedometer and hybrid gauge, which shows battery charge and discharge, an optional 4.2” LCD screen shows you important driver information like: the battery state of charge and energy flow as well as the status of active safety features, remaining fuel range and fuel consumption, navigation instructions and outside temperature.

Navigation system with 10.25” touch screen

An all-new 10.25 inch Audio Video Navigation system is available as the elegant centrepiece of the KONA Hybrid’s cockpit. The customisable split touch-screen features Hyundai’s advanced Blue Link connectivity as well as a free 5-year LIVE Services subscription. Access real-time information on fuel station locations and prices, traffic, weather and POI, as well as On & Off-Street parking. A Hyundai dealership finder is included as well – and even speed camera alerts where allowed by law.

Exclusive interior colour pack

Inside the cockpit, the all-new KONA Hybrid features an exclusive interior colour pack as standard equipment. Stylish white accents on the air vent surroundings and gear shift bezel are contrasted by glossy black accents on the door handles, steering wheel spoke, and air vent bezels. The seats also feature white contrast stitching for even more style. What’s more, you can also choose from three other optional colour packs – Orange, Red, and Lime – to further customise the interior. An Electronic Parking Brake is also included as standard equipment.

PERFORMANCE.

Enjoy electric acceleration and super smooth shifts. With its dynamic tandem of a powerful 32 kW electric motor and a specially calibrated 105 PS direct injection petrol engine, the all-new KONA Hybrid delivers excellent power performance with a system output of 141 PS. The innovative six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission delivers a smooth ride for a truly enjoyable driving experience.

Hybrid powertrain

The all-new KONA Hybrid is equipped with both a petrol engine and an electric motor. They work together with the support of a powerful lithium-ion polymer battery to deliver excellent fuel economy and cut down on emissions. All without you having to charge a battery or change your driving habits. Regenerative braking charges the battery so you don’t have to.

6 DCT

The innovative six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) combines the fuel efficiency and driving fun of a manual transmission with the convenience of an automatic. Two drive modes are available: eco and sport. In sport mode there is a different shift pattern, with gears being held longer before shifting.

ECO Driving Assistant System (ECO-DAS)

The excellent fuel efficiency and low CO2 emissions of the all-new KONA Hybrid is supported by the ECO Driving Assistant System (ECO-DAS). When a route is entered into the navigation system, its Predictive Energy Management system analyses the route, tapping into topography data to set an optimal mix of power from the battery and fuel from the engine. A Coasting Guide informs the driver when a driving situation demanding deceleration is imminent to reduce fuel consumption.

Paddle shifters

The all-new KONA Hybrid comes equipped with steering-wheel-mounted shift paddles. In sport mode they give you the option to shift gears manually for a more dynamic driving experience.

10.25’’ AVN

An all-new 10.25 inch Audio Video Navigation system is available as well. The customisable split touch-screen features Hyundai’s advanced Blue Link connectivity as well as a free 5-year LIVE Services subscription. Active safety technology

From automatically braking to avoid collisions, to detecting vehicles in the blind spot, the all-new KONA Hybrid can alert you of potential dangers around you when driving as well as actively helping you to stay in your lane.

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (SCC w/ S&G) (SCC)

Smart Cruise Control with Stop & Go (SCC w/ S&G) Increases safety and reduces stress by maintaining a set distance to the preceding vehicle, automatically reducing or increasing speed up to a pre-set limit, according to prevailing traffic conditions. In “stop & go” traffic, the pre-determined distance is maintained by SCC after coming to a standstill, restarting the motor when forward movement ahead is detected and a tap is given by the foot on the accelerator.
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist with Pedestrian and Cyclist Detection (FCA) (FCA)

FCA is an advanced active safety feature that alerts drivers to emergency situations, braking automatically if required. Using front radar and camera sensors, FCA operates in three stages. Initially warning the driver visually and acoustically, it controls the brake according to the collision danger level, and applies maximum braking force to avoid a collision or minimise damage when a collision is unavoidable. The system is active at speeds of 9 km/h or higher and senses vehicles, pedestrians, and cyclists.
Blind-spot Collision Warning (BCW) with lane change assist (BCW)

Also using radar, the Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW) monitors the rear corners and, if another vehicle is detected, a visual alert appears on the exterior mirrors. If the driver then activates the indicators, an audible signal is emitted in lane change situations in which a vehicle is detected.
Rear Cross-traffic Collision Warning (RCCW) (RCCW)

Using the rear corner radar, the Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning (RCCW) reduces the risk of collision with approaching traffic when reversing out of narrow areas with low visibility. Using radar to scan a 180-degree area behind the vehicle for approaching cross traffic, RCCW alerts the driver visually and audibly.
Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) (LKA)

The Lane Keeping Assist (LKA) uses the front camera to monitor the lines of the road. In case of an unintended lane departure, it will warn the driver and can apply counter steering torque to guide the car back to the lane.
Lane Following Assist (LFA) (LFA)

The new KONA Hybrid features Lane Following Assist (LFA). When activated, it keeps the car centred in its lane at speeds between 0 and 160 kilometres per hour on highways and city streets.
